Terms of Use
These Terms govern use of the Mari Blush website and online appointment tools. Mari Blush is a permanent-makeup (PMU) and beauty-service business in Montréal, Québec. This page is general information and is not a substitute for legal or medical advice.
Appointments and professional judgment
Submitting a booking request does not by itself create a confirmed appointment. An appointment is confirmed only when the website or Mari Blush expressly confirms it; an enabled immediate-booking mode may confirm automatically. Automated email may be delayed. If a technical discrepancy occurs, the confirmed appointment record maintained by Mari Blush controls.
Mari Blush may refuse, postpone, reschedule, stop or cancel a service when safety, health, consent, age, skin condition, contraindications, expectations or professional judgment make the service unsuitable. Reasonable operational circumstances such as illness, equipment or location issues may also require a change.
Age and capacity
A client must have legal capacity to consent. Some services may be subject to minimum-age requirements; proof of age and, where applicable, a parent or legal guardian may be required. Mari Blush may refuse a procedure when valid consent cannot be established.
Prices, deposits, touch-ups and refunds
The prices, taxes, deposits and payment terms disclosed before confirmation apply. No undisclosed fee is automatically owed, and deposit refundability must be disclosed before payment. Touch-up pricing and eligibility depend on the stated policy for the applicable service and touch-ups are not included unless clearly stated.
Refund requests are considered according to the service performed, payment terms, circumstances and applicable consumer rights. Dissatisfaction with a subjective cosmetic result does not automatically establish entitlement to a refund.
Intellectual property
Mari Blush branding, original website text, graphics and business photographs are owned by or licensed to Mari Blush and may not be commercially copied or republished without permission. Lawful personal use and rights permitted by law are unaffected.
Permanent makeup and procedure-specific conditions
PMU is a cosmetic procedure involving placement of pigment in the skin; it is not medical treatment. Results vary with skin type, age, health, medication, lifestyle, sun exposure, previous work, aftercare, pigment response and healing. Exact colour, retention, symmetry, shape, healing time and number of sessions cannot be guaranteed.
Mapping, pre-drawings, reference images, digital previews and colour samples are planning aids, not guarantees. Possible risks include fading, colour shift, uneven retention, asymmetry, patchiness, scarring, infection, allergic reaction, swelling, tenderness, bruising and dissatisfaction.
Previous PMU or tattoo work may affect results and may require correction, removal or refusal of service. Mari Blush may stop a procedure if continuing becomes unsafe or inappropriate. A client may withdraw consent before the procedure begins. Procedure-specific screening and informed consent are separate from these website Terms.
Client health responsibilities
Clients must provide complete and truthful information and disclose relevant allergies; skin conditions; pregnancy or breastfeeding where relevant; diabetes; immune, bleeding or clotting conditions; blood thinners and relevant medication; recent injections, peels, laser, surgery or cosmetic procedures; active infection; cold-sore history for lip procedures; previous PMU or tattoo work; and a tendency toward keloid or abnormal scarring.
Clients must follow preparation and aftercare instructions and report health changes before the appointment. Mari Blush may require appropriate medical clearance. Failure to disclose relevant information may increase risk and require postponement or refusal.
Do not place detailed medical information in the general Contact form or ordinary booking notes. Sensitive screening belongs in the appropriate consultation or consent process.
Medical limitations and warning signs
Mari Blush does not diagnose or treat medical conditions. Seek appropriate medical care for unusual or worsening symptoms such as spreading redness, severe swelling, discharge, fever, severe pain or other signs of infection. Contacting Mari Blush does not replace medical evaluation.
Privacy Policy
Privacy questions and complaints may be sent to contact@mariblush.com. Mari Blush may verify identity before responding to a request.
Information collected
Mari Blush collects identity and contact information, appointment details, account identifiers, service history and technical or security information such as session data, IP-related security signals and abuse-prevention results. When required for a service, Mari Blush may also collect transaction references, procedure notes, consent records, service-record photographs, and limited health or contraindication information.
Purpose and consent
Required fields are used to process bookings and provide services; optional fields may be left blank. Optional consent may be withdrawn prospectively, although withdrawal may prevent an optional feature. Transactional booking messages do not require marketing consent. Marketing and public-photo use require separate consent.
Sensitive PMU information
Health and contraindication information is used only for suitability, safety, consent, service records, disputes and legal obligations. Access should be limited to authorized people who need it. Detailed health information should not be sent through general contact channels.
Providers and transfers
Supabase provides authentication and database services, Cloudflare provides hosting and network security, Resend delivers email, and Turnstile provides anti-abuse protection when enabled. Providers process information for assigned functions. Information may be processed outside Québec or Canada and may be subject to local laws. Mari Blush uses reasonable administrative, contractual and technical measures appropriate to the information.
Cookies, storage and retention
The site may use essential session cookies, authentication storage, security and anti-abuse technologies, language preferences and temporary booking-draft storage. Appointment, consent, service, payment, tax, safety and dispute records may be retained as reasonably required. Account data may be retained while active and for a reasonable period afterward; marketing-consent records may be retained to demonstrate consent or withdrawal.
Information is deleted, anonymized or access-restricted when no longer required. Account deletion does not necessarily delete records that must be retained.
Privacy incidents and individual rights
Mari Blush maintains a process for suspected unauthorized access, use, loss or disclosure and will notify affected people and authorities where legally required. Clients may request access, correction or deletion, or information about how personal information is handled. Requests may be limited by legal retention duties. Use the Contact page, call 514-652-5505, or email the privacy contact.
Photographs
Photographs may be taken where reasonably necessary for consultation, mapping, service records, healing review or result documentation. These record photographs are kept with the client file and limited to legitimate service purposes.
Use in a public portfolio, website, advertisement or social media requires separate optional consent. Refusing marketing consent does not affect eligibility for service, and accepting these Terms does not imply marketing-photo consent.
Cancellation, rescheduling, lateness and no-shows
Online cancellation is available up to 24 hours before your appointment.
Rescheduling depends on availability. Late arrival may reduce available service time or require rescheduling; arriving too late may be handled under the disclosed cancellation policy. Mari Blush may cancel or reschedule because of illness, safety, equipment, location or other reasonable operational circumstances. Any applicable deposit or fee must have been disclosed. This page does not silently create additional fees.
